Make MoneyDosh Review

Dosh Review

In this Dosh review, we will describe how the app works, how to earn cash back, and all the other details you need to know about it. With Dosh, you can earn passive cash-back on purchases made with select partners, such as restaurants, gas stations, hotels, and more. By linking a credit card or a debit card, users can shop normally and watch how their account balance grows.

In the last few months since Dosh App’s official launch in late 2017, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding it.

The Dosh app has received many positive reviews from people who have written them, saying that it is the best cashback app. It is truly remarkable how Dosh has emerged from nowhere in a world where Rakuten and Swagbucks have traditionally dominated.

There is no doubt that anyone will be intrigued by the “set it and forget it” approach, the impressive list of participating merchants, and the generous referral bonuses offered by this program.

Check out our detailed Dosh review to determine whether this is the right cash-back app for you.

Review of the Dosh App: What Is It All About?

The Dosh app offers cash back when you make a purchase using your credit card at participating outlets. You can also use a debit card, but you will need to select the “credit” option during the checkout process.

Only Dosh sends cash back automatically without the usual hassle. There are no coupons, no receipts to scan, no promo codes to enter, no special button to click. You can simply shop as you normally would and receive cash back.

What is the legitimacy of Dosh?

Dosh offers a number of benefits, including the ability to earn cash back without having to go through any hoops.

What is the Dosh System?

Your credit card will be linked as soon as you download the app. By using your credit card at participating merchants, you will immediately receive points in your “Dosh Wallet”. You are able to cash out your balance once the minimum balance of $25 has been reached through direct deposit or PayPal.

You can get money back (up to 10 percent) each time you make a purchase through the partnership between the company and major brands, merchants, companies, and hotels.

In order to save money with cash-back apps, you must spend money. Having Dosh can save you a lot of money if you shop a lot at participating stores and live near a lot of them.

Making Money with Dosh

Dosh is a mobile app that enables users to earn money or cash back in a variety of ways.

1. Link your card to earn $5

Your Dosh Wallet will be credited with $5 cash as soon as you link your credit card with the app. The bonus is automatically activated once you link your credit card; there is no need to “unlock” it. For additional cash, you may add additional credit cards.

2. Earnings from online shopping

The Dosh App is a great tool for frequent online shoppers. Purchases made at participating online retailers are automatically credited to your Dosh Wallet.

3. Cash back at participating stores

Has Nike provided you with a new pair of shoes? The cash back rate is 4.5%. Have you enjoyed a meal at Jack in the Box? The amount you spent is refunded to you in the amount of 7%. There are no coupons, no receipts, and no scanning required. Dosh Wallet will accumulate cash as you use it.

4. Reward points for travel

If you book hotels through Dosh, you will receive cash back for every night of your stay. There are over 600,000 hotels that Dosh partners with throughout the world. When you book a hotel through Dosh, you will receive up to 40% cash back.

5. Make recommendations to friends and business associates

In the Dosh App, when you sign up, you will see the option Refer on the dashboard, where you will receive a referral code. This code can then be sent to friends and family members. You will receive a $5 referral bonus if one of the recipients clicks on the link, downloads the app, and links his or her credit card.

You would earn $125 if you could convince 25 friends to download the app and link their cards. It is even better to refer businesses to Dosh if you wish to earn large sums of money. By referring a business to the Dosh App, you will receive 20% of the business’s Dosh fees for two years. The process for becoming eligible involves agreeing to certain terms and conditions and completing an application.

Dosh Pays You in What Way?

There’s nothing complicated about it. In participating stores, you pay for items, and a small portion of your purchase is credited to your Dosh account. The balance can be withdrawn through PayPal or your bank account once you have accumulated a minimum of $25. These same methods can also be used to cash out referral fees.

Apps Like Dosh That Offer Cash Back

It is not a new thing to have apps that offer cash back. In contrast to Dosh, you must do a lot more work before you can get your money back from other programs than you do with Dosh. However, some cash-back apps may be more suitable for you depending on their unique advantages.

1. Swagbucks

Swagbucks gives you cash back like other cashback apps, in addition to earning free gifts and cash for the things you do every day online.

In addition to playing games, watching videos, shopping, doing searches, and answering surveys, there are many other things you can do online. Hundreds of retailers, including Walmart, Starbucks, and Target, allow you to earn SBs (Shopping Bucks) to redeem for cash back.

By redeeming Swagbucks points through the Swagbucks dashboard, you can receive free gift cards to popular retailers such as Amazon and Walmart. Your points can be converted into cash and deposited into your PayPal account if you prefer cash.

2. InboxDollars

InboxDollars has paid out $25 million in rewards to its members since it launched in 2005.

The InboxDollars app works just like Swagbucks, where you get rewards for watching TV, taking surveys, shopping, and more.

3. Shopkick

Shopkick was founded in 2009 and has millions of users who regularly earn rewards for in-store and online shopping. In addition to American Eagle Outfitters, Best Buy, eBay, and Groupon, the company has a solid list of partners.

The Shopkick program has its own rewards program, similar to other cash back programs. As a reward when you buy an item from a store, scan the product and get “kicks” as a result, you get to keep the item. It is possible to redeem the “kicks” you earn for gift cards and/or physical items in exchange for the kicks.

4. Ibotta

Ibotta pays you back when you purchase goods from select stores, restaurants, and hotels. You must use your smartphone to scan the receipt in order to earn cash back from a transaction.

After you take a picture of the receipt, the money will appear in your Ibotta account within 24 to 48 hours. In addition to cash back, Ibotta offers referral bonuses and special promo codes for additional savings.

5. Rakuten

Rakuten (formerly Ebates) has a $10 signup bonus, but it’s not as flexible as Dosh. In terms of competition, Dosh probably has its biggest rival in this company.

To receive cash back from Rakuten, you must first use the app or visit the company’s online portal to make your purchase. A browser extension is also available that notifies you when there is a cash-back offer available. It does not hurt to add Rakuten to your shopping arsenal since there is no rule prohibiting signing up for multiple cash-back websites or apps.

Dosh App: Is it safe?

As a result of our own experience and other positive reviews, we believe that Dosh is a safe tool. It is true that the product is not perfect, but several online sources as well as personal accounts attest to the legitimacy of Dosh.

As all data is tokenized and vaulted using Braintree, Dosh does not have the capacity to store credit card information. PayPal is one of the world’s largest and most trusted payment processors, and Braintree is one of its divisions.

As all transactions in the Dosh App are SSL-encrypted, it is very unlikely that third parties will be able to access the data.

Rating by BBB

Dosh Holdings, Inc. has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since November 2017. Ratings for the company are A-.

Dosh’s Disadvantages

There are drawbacks to even Dosh. Dosh has the following disadvantages:

  • There is only an American version of the Dosh App. Currently, the Dosh App is only available to U.S. residents. Future expansion of the company may take place in other countries.
  • Similar sites do not allow you to link credit cards. Do you participate in the Yelp Cash Back program? Due to Dosh’s prohibition against using cards on similar sites, you won’t be able to use the same card on Dosh (at least not with the same card).

Dosh Merchants: Who Are They?

There is an all-star lineup of merchants participating in Dosh. A variety of brands are represented, including Nike, Walmart, Gap, Fitbit, Sam’s Club, Callaway, Patagonia, Snapfish, Forever 21, Hilton, Jack in the Box, and others.

The following is a partial list of participating Dosh merchants and their corresponding credit rates (note: these rates are subject to change, so be sure to verify them before making a purchase).

  • Walgreens – Cash Back of 4.5%
  • Cash back of 3% at Safeway
  • Cash back of 2% at Office Depot
  • 2% Cash Back at Overstock.com
  • Cash Back at Sam’s Club – 2%
  • Cash Back 3% at Nike
  • Cash back of 6% at Home Depot
  • Cash back of 2% at Staples
  • Cash Back at Walmart.com – 2%
  • 10% Cash Back at PetSmart

Dosh App: Should You Download It?

When you are already shopping, it does not hurt to earn money back. This is especially true if you live in an area where businesses are participating in the program. You can save money on hotels with the Dosh App if you enjoy traveling.

Among the benefits Dosh has over other cash-back apps is that it doesn’t require you to jump through a lot of hoops or hassle to get cash back from your purchases.

Furthermore, it is important to note that the Dosh App is not a scam. As a regular or frequent shopper, you may find that this is a legitimate business that can provide long-term benefits to your business.
